اموری در اين ظهور ظاهر که از برای مظاهر علم و فضل و مشارق انصاف و عدل جز تصديق مجالی نه * امروز بر شما لازم و واجب که بقوّت ملکوتی قيام نمائی و شبهات احزاب عالم را بقدرت علم محو فرمائی تا کلّ مقدّس شده قصد بحر اعظم نمايند و بما اراده اللّه تمسّک جويند *

Shoghi Effendi Translation

Such things have appeared in this Revelation that there is no recourse for either the exponents of science and knowledge or the manifestations of justice and equity other than to recognize them. It is incumbent upon thee, in this day, to arise with celestial power and dissipate, with the aid of knowledge, the doubts of the peoples of the world, so that all men may be sanctified, and direct their steps towards the Most Great Ocean and cleave fast unto that which God hath purposed.

Shoghi Effendi described it as a volume whose perusal would deepen the spirit of devotion and faith.

Revealed in Adrianople and addressed to a believer named Aḥmad, this Tablet has been invested by Bahá’u’lláh with a special potency and significance. Its central imagery draws on the metaphor of fire and water: “Be thou as a flame of fire to My enemies and a river of life eternal to My loved ones.”
